The programming wizard allows convenient configuration of ifm electronic’s fluid sensors from the PC. The programming tool allows the user fast and clear access to all sensor data. Switching thresholds, hysteresis, damping and other parameters can be read or existing data records can be transferred from the PC to the sensor at any time. This simplifies commissioning of machinery and equipment.
Even before connection to the sensor all parameters can be selected, changed and stored in the PC. One mouse click transfers the data packages to the sensor.
Connection to the PC is made via serial RS-232 interface. The ready-to-connect set contains all the interfaces with cable connections and power supply required.
The future has also been provided for: The software can be updated free of charge using the Internet Update Service.
