The new solution The compact ifm PK pressure switch series is the first electronic pressure switch to feature a successful combination of easy setting and high long-term stability. This pressure switch is distinguished by a high pressure peak resistance and excellent resistance to aggressive media. Units with two separate switching outputs and a fixed hysteresis have now been added to this series. The fixed reset point is 2 % of the freely adjustable set point. As a result of the consistent further development of this innovative series the sensors can be used in more applications. This gives the user more flexibility in almost all industrial and mobile applications.

The easy operating concept The ease of handling is fascinating: Due to the radial setting rings with a unit scale in bar and psi for optimum readability every user can adjust the set point and reset point quickly and precisely even without pressure being applied. Due to the possible mechanical locking inadvertent manipulation is excluded. A protective cap that is available as an accessory protects against manipulation.
Versatility The robust pressure switch can be used in nearly all industrial and mobile applications. Not only standard hydraulic and pneumatic applications can be implemented, but also gas pressures up to 400 bar or applications in air conditioning and refrigerating technology. The maximum robustness of the stainless steel measuring cell ensures high long-term stability and wear-free operation over millions of pressure cycles.
