The new family of KW capacitive sensors is specially suitable for the detection of conveyed goods, such as stacks of paper or wood panels. Due to its very flat design (depth of 10mm only) the unit can be easily integrated into the mechanical structure of the machines and prevents mechanical damage during operation.
Normally open / normally closed programmable
The required output function is easily programmable via connection cable. This facilitates installation and set-up and subsequent changes are possible without any problems, so that stock levels,can be reduced.
Setting by Teach-IN element
The Teach-IN element enables the problem-free setting of the sensing range to the object to be detected.The µ processor aided setting and the LED display are used to find the optimum and safe sensing range. Even in inaccessible areas remote setting via programming wire guarantees easy and safe handling.
High operational reliability
The capacitive proximity switches are immune to noise caused for example by frequency converters, mobile phones or electrostatic discharge.
