New design and new technology
The electronic pressure sensors type PI with analogue output and switching output have been adapted to the higher requirements of process technology implementing a number of innovations and a fundamentally new housing design.
This means:
- Total accuracy of 0.2 %
- Improved temperature decoupling
- Electronic temperature compensation
- “Automatic” adjustment of the zero point
- “Automatic” adjustment of the upper and lower ends of the analogue output.
The “automatic” adjustment functions can be performed by simply pressing a pushbutton. Adjustment for hydrostatic level measurements is easy and adapted to the user’s needs.
Technical details
The ceramic measuring cell (Al2O3 99.9 %) contributes its share to ensure drift-free continuous operation under overload conditions. The way the measuring cell is attached in the unit is especially important for aseptic processes. Using an elastically attached PTFE ring solves this problem in a unique way. A solution unparalleled worldwide for demanding monitoring tasks under severe conditions!
Full parameter setting and read-out of the sensors can be carried out via a PC connection. A modular connection concept with the tried-and-tested ASEPTOFLEX sealing concept allows selection of the process connection
depending on local conditions (certification to 3A and EHEDG). Selectable country-specific pressure units: bar/mbar, kPa/MPa, psi and %.
