Controller E - The AS-i controllers with fieldbus interface.
AS-i Ethernet gateway 10/100 Mbits or Profibus-DP interface (EN 50170)
Characteristics The AS-i controller e family has a modular design. One or two AS-i masters,a serial interface, and a fieldbus interface are integrated in a compact housing. An Ethernet-TCP/IP connection is in preparation.
AS-i Master 2.1 The AS-i master supports all new features: Peripheral fault evaluation of the slaves, extended address mode for up to 62 slaves and simple connection of analogue slaves without function block. Data calls,parameter setting calls, addressing calls and the slave lists are available.
Fieldbus interface (Profibus-DP V1) The Profibus interface supports a speed of up to 12 MBaud and the extended diagnosis for the detection of missing AS-i slaves in the host system.
Decentralised controller The integrated plc functionality enables fast processing of the AS-i data without loading the fieldbus thus making it possible to control fast machines. Direct access to the peripheral data is made intuitively without reference lists, i.e. the slave addresses can be found directly in the program. Any standard PC can be used for programming.
