Up to 62 slaves can be connected to one AS-i master.
The tried and tested AS-i ClassicLine modules for field applications are now also available with extended addressing mode. This function is supported by master modules of AS-i version 2.1 such as the Controllere family from ifm. With all the other AS-i masters the ClassicLine modules operate in the address range from 1 to 31.
All controls and indicators are located on the front panel for easy access. Signal states, operating voltage and faults are indicated. The high luminosity of the LEDs makes them particularly easy to see.

Compact housing
The ClassicLine modules enable exact fault location and are perfectly suitable for installation in the field thanks to their compact design and high protection rating.
The launched and standardised electromechanical interface between module upper and lower part - briefly called EMS - enables fast installation with protection against reverse polarity.
