Simple evaluation of function check and teach function of sensors.
The ClassicLine sensor modules enable the connection of sensors with additional diagnostic signals to AS-i masters according to the specification 2.1. The evaluation of peripheral faults or communication errors is made automatically in the master.
Powerful LEDs on the front panel indicate the states of the inputs, the voltage supply and possible faults at the module. Peripheral faults (PF) are indicated at the slave by a flashing red LED, communication errors by a red LED which is permanently lit.
The connection of sensors /actuators is made via standard M12 sockets.

AC 2501 - sensor module with FKT (function check) inputs
This ClassicLine module provides 200 mA supply from AS-i. Up to four photoelectric sensors,proximity switches or similar electronic sensors with pnp output stage can be connected. The four standard M12 sockets allow connection of both the switching signal and the FKT (function check) signal from the sensor. The FKT signal can be reprogrammed from normally open signal to normally closed signal via the AS-i parameter bits and thus adapted to the sensor function.
All FKT signals are logically OR combined and evaluated as
combined peripheral fault message.
