The mobile controller ecomat 100 series R 360 has been specially developed for use in vehicles and mobile machines.
Due to its special mechanical and electrical design it meets the extreme requirements in this area of applications. If a central controller cannot be used in a mobile machine, decentralised input /output modules are employed.
As a result of the decentralised structure the electronics can be exactly located at the required machine positions. Due to the networking of the modules via the powerful CAN bus with CANopen protocol for mobile use the application can be quickly implemented. By means of the BUS technology wiring complexity is con-
siderably reduced.
The input/output modules are fitted with a central plug with which all connections for the sensors,actuators,CAN bus and supply voltage are made. Owing to the high protection rating the modules can be used in dirty and wet areas.
The parameter setting of the inputs and outputs enables use in diverse applications.
