February 22, 2008 – ifm efector was recognized as providing "Best Products and Finest Service" in the categories of Flow Switches and Level Gauges, Electrical-Property Based in Control Magazine's Readers' Choice Awards.

Control Magazine’s 16th annual Readers' Choice Survey polled subrscribers to vote for the best products and services they receive from vendors in more than 70 categories. The web-based poll was sent to subscribers asking them to write in their vendor-of-choice and rate them using a scale from 1 to 5, with 5 being the highest score.

Readers' Choice: Flow Switch Award
In the category of Flow Switch, ifm ranked in the second position out of five companies that provide outstanding service and products to their customers.
