Five year limited warranty
ifm efector warrants that its position control sensors, i.e. proximity switches and photoelectric sensors, will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for five years, and ifm efector will repair or replace any proximity switch which is found to be defective within five years of shipment and which is returned to us, shipping prepaid, within one year after the defect is discovered.

This warranty is in lieu of and excluding any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose and this remedy is the exclusive remedy, as ifm efector will not be responsible for any incidental or consequential damages.

Two year limited warranty
ifm efector warrants that its fluid control sensors will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for two years, and ifm efector will repair or replace any sensor which is found to be defective within two years of shipment and which is returned to us, shipping prepaid, within one year after the defect is discovered.
